CentPol is a small global community using structured conversations to understand AI — and to build the capacity to reason about it as a technical, institutional, economic, political, and human system at the same time. Not headlines, not hype. We call that capacity policy intelligence.
The work happens in Sprints
A Sprint is a four- to eight-week cycle of focused inquiry into one policy domain — enough time to move past surface commentary and examine an issue from every angle. We've completed two and begun our third.
Our first, National AI Strategy, ran a reusable nine-pillar framework — vision, compute, data governance, talent, priority sectors, safety, institutions, international engagement, and metrics — against real national strategies. Participants finished by writing a memo or a three-minute pitch built for actual decision-makers.
